"The vision for the maternity shoot really stemmed from visiting Thailand for Keisha’s 30th birthday last November and for our second wedding anniversary. It was beautiful, the greenery, the water, the people and culture. Honestly one of our favorite places we have been together. Soon after returning, we found out we were expecting and it just made sense to do a shoot that highlighted the beauty we saw in Thailand. It was important that the maternity shoot was ethereal and classy. Keisha bounced ideas around with our friend Michelle Olmann, the creator of Hello Moments, LLC and together they found the location (The Secret Garden in Miami, Florida). It was perfect; the waterfalls, the canoe, it was just a great fit. And selecting the photographer was easy, Kareem and Sandy are skilled at capturing special moments between a couple. As a team they elevate the pictures, Kareem has a keen eye for lighting and poses and Sandy is able to direct angles that will enhance the pictures so we both knew we wanted to work with the dream team." - Keisha + David
